Sunday Mornings

Our Nursery is located to the right of the lobby as you enter. We are ready to provide a warm and safe place for your baby while you worship.
We also have a Cry Room in the same location if you would like to stay with your baby or nurse. You can view and hear the worship service. We have infant car seat holders if you would like to take your baby with you to the service or one of the adult classes.
Vibrating pagers are used for all babies who are in our Nursery. Since the pager vibrates, you need to hold or wear the pager at all times.
If you are needed during the morning, we will page you.
Simple snacks are served, usually crackers with water to drink. We have sippy cups for your toddler to use. Please leave personal sippy cups at home.
We have a wide assortment of toys for the children to use. Personal toys should be left at home.
Please make sure your child has on his/her name tag when he/she comes to the class.
All your baby’s diaper bag, bottles, and pacifiers should be clearly labeled.
When you return to pick up your child, leave nametags and pagers in the Nursery

The Sunday morning program includes play time, Bible stories, table time where the children work on a take-home paper about the Bible lesson, and a snack time.
Weather and time permitting, there may also be outdoor play in our fenced play yard.

During our 9am hour our 1st-5th graders will meet upstairs for a time of interactive Bible study. They will be released at 10:05am.
During our 10:30am hour after our children are dismissed from the main service the 1st-5th graders will meet upstairs. They will have a large group teaching/game time and will then be divided into small groups according to their ages for more in depth questions regarding the lesson.

There is nothing more rewarding than touching the life of a child for Jesus! There is nothing more satisfying than guiding a child to knowing Jesus as their Savior.
Working in our Sunday Children’s ministry is one of the most fulfilling things you can do. You don’t have to be a “super-teacher” to send forth God’s Word. There are positions for people with various talents, different gifts, and all ages. Some are “up front” and some are “behind the scenes”. All you need is a love for the Lord and a desire to be used in His service!
All volunteers should have attended Rolling Hills for 6 months before they serve as a leader with children. In some cases, potential leaders may serve with an already approved leader. Potential volunteers must complete an application and undergo a background check.

Cubbies celebrates the spiritual potential of preschoolers by helping them develop respect for God, His Son, and His Word.

Sparks ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids to learn about people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ.

Truth and Training (T&T) engages 3rd – 6th graders by answering their questions about God and the Bible.

The name Truth & Training reflects the passion of Awana to teach older elementary children the truth of God’s Word and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives.
