PURSUING GOD’S PLAN for SIGNIFICANCE IN THE SECOND HALF OF LIFE
GPS (God’s Plan for Significance) is a ministry for those retired and employed adults who consider themselves to be in the “second half” of life. We feel that these years can accomplish some of the most significant goals in life’s journey. We do not accept that the second half of life is a journey of “trivial pursuits” that have no eternal value.
We use small groups, field trips, dinners, teaching and training opportunities to ensure that the benefits of our second half adults give them significance and purpose beginning in their fifties and extending well into their seventies and eighties. We do not believe that the second half of our life is simply to sit, soak, and scorn the changes in our world. We have a passion to impact our community, serving in and through Rolling Hills Church. We believe we can play a strategic role in helping to transform as many people as possible into passionate and productive followers of Jesus Christ.
