Rolling Hills, look what you’ve done.

This is a smattering of the projects we’ve been a part of the past couple years at Rolling Hills

    • Every spring, our senior high ministry takes students to Mexicali, Mexico, with Azusa Pacific University’s Mexico Outreach. We conduct Vacation Bible Schools, clean up streets, and build homes.
    • In the summer, our youth ran Vacation Bible Schools in a church serving in south-central Los Angeles
    • A number of families travel to San Felipe, Mexico, and serve the 99plus1 ministry, which serves the needy in this community. We purchased a propane-powered refrigerator so they could provide fresh food in places where electricity is unavailable
    • We sent teams to helped build the men’s dorm of a Partners International conference center, then furnished the men’s dorms. This facility is used for conferences and drug rehabilitation.
    • In Honduras, we sent medical supplies and enough money to serve meals to 125,000 people
    • We purchased air conditioning units to equip a Youth/Worship Center in Romania
    • We started Gynelle’s Closet, a ministry at CityTeam Oakland, providing excellent quality clothing to those in need
    • We throw baby showers for some of the families that choose to keep their babies through Valley Pregnancy Center
    • With 7-Day Hero ministry in Vietnam, we supported 200 cataract surgeries, brought medical supplies to a leprosy colony, provided the funds to build a shelter/classroom for an orphanage in a village still hurting from the effects of Agent Orange, and donated two ¬†laptops to another orphanage
    • Through World Vision “Sponsor a Child,” we send monthly support to ¬†50 children in the Dominican Republic
    • We participated in a half-marathon, raising support to build wells in Africa
    • We delivered bags of love, meals to shut-ins the Henry Hotel in San Francisco
    • We contributed $5000 to Old Skool Cafe in San Francisco, a restaurant fully run by individuals coming out of the justice system
    • We conduct monthly Bible Studies in area jails, and play basketball against the inmates at San Quentin
    • With CityTeam Oakland, we bring gifts for entire families at Christmas, and turkeys at Thanksgiving
    • We send out hundreds of supplies packed in shoeboxes each year for Operation Christmas Child
