It really matters how you see the world. The people of Israel did what was right in their own eyes, but not God's! They did evil in the sight of God. The book of Judges paints a picture of life when we forget God and live any way we want, and it is not pretty. Our cycle of sin - sorrow - deliverance - then sin again tumbles us around and around and down and down. We need a King, a true King who rightly judges good and evil and delivers us from our oppressors and ourselves once and for all. We need Jesus.
